Atmospheric landscape

Why add a Emma Price to your collection?

Emma’s atmospheric landscapes vibrate with energy; usually calming, often relaxing, but her art can also be vibrant and energising.  Emma has an intuitive way of working with colour, resulting in works of ethereal beauty that has gained her collectors in the UK, Europe, Australia and Asia.

About Emma’s Work

Having always felt a connection to our natural world, Emma’s work has evolved from her early work as a realism pencil artist, to a landscape painter, with oils now being her preferred medium.

These abstract or semi-abstract landscapes are often based on places Emma has lived and travelled through.  She also creates atmospheric works that take the viewer to more ethereal and imagined places, and it is perhaps this ambiguity that has made her so popular with collectors – the viewer can interpret the scene from a personal perspective.  Her paintings are heavily influenced by emotion, which resonates through her meticulous blending of colour and light to achieve harmonious artworks that connect with her audience.

Styling Ideas

Emma’s works are of a versatile scales to fit in every home.  From smaller to larger pieces, her use of colour creates the impression of depth, with darker accents emerging from misty lighter surroundings.    As such they can welcome visitors when hung in a hallway, or create a moment of calm in a bedroom.   The use of blended tones make them suitable for many contemporary interior colours.
